Michele R. Freemyers is a founding member of EKKO Title and the law firm of Leggett, Simon, Freemyers and Lyon, PLC. She manages the Fredericksburg office of EKKO Title and focuses her law practice on all matters related to residential real estate transactions.

Prior to joining EKKO Title and LSF&L, Ms. Freemyers worked for five years as an attorney in the law firm of Hunzeker, Lyon and Leggett, PLC, and was legal counsel to MBH Settlement Group, L.C., where her practice included real estate settlements and real estate contracts. Ms. Freemyers has been practicing in the Fredericksburg Virginia area since 2003 and opened the Ekko Title Fredericksburg location in the spring of 2008.

Ms. Freemyers has also been an active participant in, and affiliate member of the Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors and has been a sitting member of the Education Committee of this association since 2004. Ms. Freemyers has frequently served as a real estate instructor for the association, the Institute of Continuing Education, NVAR, PWAR, and numerous other states approved and licensed real estate schools. She has authored many educational materials and outlines on a wide variety of real estate related subjects. Ms. Freemyers’ community involvement and educational efforts were recognized when she received the Fredericksburg Area Association’s Affiliate of the Year award for 2007 and again in 2009.

Ms. Freemyers earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1994. She then went on to attend the University of Denver College of Law and earned a Juris Doctor degree in May of 1997. Ms. Freemyers was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1997. Thereafter, Ms. Freemyers was an attorney with Hull & Zimmerman, P.C. where she practiced personal injury and family law. In 2001, Ms. Freemyers returned to her native home in Northern Virginia. Ms. Freemyers is licensed to practice law in Colorado (1997), the District of Columbia (2001) and Virginia (2004). Ms. Freemyers currently lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her husband and three children and is committed to being an active member of her legal and real estate community.
