Marcus Simon is one of the founding members of EKKO Title, and the law firm of Leggett, Simon, Freemyers & Lyon, PLC. He is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the district and the manager of EKKO Title’s McLean office. Mr. Simon’s law practice focuses on all matters related to residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Formerly, Mr. Simon was an attorney in the law firm of Hunzeker, Lyon & Leggett, PLC, counsel to MBH Settlement Group, L.C., where his practice included real estate settlements and real estate contracts. He has written articles for the Update Magazine, the official publication of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, (NVAR), and he has served as a realtor instructor for NVAR’s school of Real Estate, the MBH School of Real Estate, the National Business Institute, and the Institute of Continuing Education.

Mr. Simon earned his B.A. degree from New York University and his J.D. degree from American University’s Washington College of Law. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar Real Estate Section.

Mr. Simon served with the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps stationed at Ft. Myers in Arlington, Virginia where he reviewed sales contracts, leases, easements and other legal documents for soldiers, sailors and marines relocating to the National Capital Region. Prior to receiving his commission in the Army, he worked as a legislative assistant and Chief of Staff to the Honorable Katherine K. Hanley, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
