E. Sheldon Leggett is a founding member of EKKO Title. He is the President and manager of operations for EKKO Title. Mr. Leggett is also the Managing partner of the law firm of Leggett, Simon, Freemyers, & Lyon PLC, legal counsel to Ekko Title. His law practice focuses on all matters related to residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Mr. Leggett was formerly a partner in the law firm of Hunzeker, Lyon & Leggett, PLC, legal counsel to MBH Settlement Group, L.C. and the Chief of operations for MBH. Mr. Leggett has been active in Real Estate law for over 24 years. He has concentrated on the representation of buyers, sellers, builders, lenders and real estate agents in real estate related matters. He has taught courses in real estate related matters for more than twenty years.

Mr. Leggett is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginian State Bar Real Property and Trusts and Estates Sections, the District of Columbia Bar and the Building and Construction Section of the District of Columbia Bar. He is the past President of the Fairfax County Bar Association’s real property section, and a member of the Arlington County Bar Association, the Alexandra Bar Association, the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors and the Prince William Association of Realtors.

Mr. Leggett attended George Mason University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1986 and his Juris Doctorate in 1990. Mr. Leggett is a native and lifelong resident of Virginia. He currently resides in the Mason Neck region of Fairfax County.
